Mineral Exploration with Geophysics

Arctic Geophysics Inc. provides a full range of ground geophysical surveys to the mineral exploration industry. For prospecting of commercial ore deposits we provide Magnetics, 2D-IP/Resistivity and Soil Sampling services. The combined use of these methods by the experienced experts of our teams, in conjunction with meticulous adherence to the prerequisites and goals of our client, as well as the locally-specific circumstances enables us to provide cost effective professional primary prospection in a comprehensive manner.

GPS-based Total Field Magnetics is usually the first tool of a multi-disciplinary prospecting campaign. It allows for rapid mapping of the area and provides anomalies as indicators for possible ore deposits.

The magnetic map allows targeted measurements with IP/Resistivity for spatial localization of hypothetical ore deposits containing electrically inducible accessory minerals

Mineral Exploration with Soil Sampling

The geophysical survey scenario can be mineralogically substantiated with Soil Sampling. Sometimes Soil Sampling is even used as the first prospecting method.
